Taxes

The Village sends out tax bills once a year, on July 1st. Taxes are due, without penalty, on September 14th of each year. After September 14th, a 1% per month penalty will apply. After September 14th, unpaid real property taxes are turned over to the Eaton County Treasurer for collection. Taxes may be obtained by calling the Village Treasurer at (269) 763-9571.

Property tax bills are mailed to the property owner only.  If you have an escrow account or another party pays your taxes it is your responsibility to forward the tax bill to this party.
